I should not be surprised by this, but, it amazes me how much the battle for gun control is just outrageous. Instead of punishing the government officials who were involved in the "Fast and Furious", our politicians just won't give up on trying to get guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens. In this article: New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg said Sunday the shooting of former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords should have sparked a national dialogue about gun laws.
I am so tired of our politicians blaming everyone but themselves for the mess our country is in. Yes, we are ALL to blame for this mess. Our previous politicians have tried to brainwash us into thinking that whatever they do, they do for our "children", our "safety", and for our "best interest". We sat back and let it all happen. We have been so busy with ourselves, our children, and even sports to pay attention to what is going on around us as well as what has happened to us in the past.
Our Constitution, our Rights, our freedoms, and our beliefs are being attacked on a daily basis. For centuries we have fought for our freedoms and our rights. Now all that is being attacked and our freedoms have slowly been taken away from us as well as our rights. Why have we allowed this to happen? Have we forgotten all those men and women who fought and died for us to have what we have today, be for nothing?
I hear on a daily basis "There's nothing we can do about it". That is just wrong. Even though we may not be able to, or want to go into battle, but, will allow others to do the work for us, doesn't mean that we can't do anything about it. We should educate ourselves and get involved with the political process and vote out those that have trampled over our Constitution, our rights, and our freedoms. It is up to us, and only us, to fix this country. We can no longer "trust" our government to take care of us. That is how we got here to begin with. Why should we keep asking the politicians to fix things when they only make matters worse?

Christians under attack ..... again
The attacks on Christians keep coming. According to this article, "President Barack Obama's Justice Department asked the Supreme Court last week to give the federal government the power to tell a church who its ministers will be."
How far will this Campaigner in Chief go to extinguish Christianity. You may remember that they have already attacked Crosses being placed at Veterans Cemeteries, even going as far as to stop anyone from saying "God Bless you" when you sneeze. I think it is ironic that they use the excuse of "Separation of Church and State", yet, here they are telling this Church who they can hire to teach their children.
According to the First Amendment, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances" If the Supreme Court rules in favor of the DOJ how will that affect the rest of us? Our government already has their hands in almost everything we do.
It is interesting how the administration uses the "Separation of Church and State" to attack Christians, but, they won't hesitate to back a Muslim Mosque to be built close to Ground Zero. Many people have questioned Obama's religious beliefs and I think the questions are justified.
Obama is laying the structure for something. Looking at all he has done to destroy this country is unsettling. George Soros wants a "New World Order" and he is helping to finance the Occupy Wall street movement. In my opinion, Obama is obliging George Soros who is an atheist.
According to this article, "George Soros is a Hungarian-American financier, businessman and notable philanthropist focused on supporting liberal ideals and causes. He became known as "the Man Who Broke the Bank of England" after he made a reported $1 billion during the 1992 Black Wednesday UK currency crises. Soros had correctly anticipated that the British government would have to devalue the pound sterling." George Soros has done this many times.
"The bulk of his enormous winnings is now devoted to encouraging transitional and emerging nations to become 'open societies,' open not only in the sense of freedom of commerce but—more important—tolerant of new ideas and different modes of thinking and behavior."
What will a New World Oder look like? It's hard to say, but, I would venture to say it's goodbye to our Constitution, our freedoms, our liberties, and life as we know it.

Occupy Wall Street and lessons of the past
As I read over the proposed list of demands, that the Occupy Wall Street protesters want, it makes me giggle. Some of their demands are absurd.
I couldn't help but reminisce about when I bought my first car in the 1970's. I remember that before all these laws, rules, and regulations were put in play, we the people had control over so many different things. I remember "gas wars". If we didn't like the price at one gas station, we went to a gas station that had cheaper prices, thus, begin the price wars. Boycotting businesses worked. Companies wanted our business. We had the power to keep the "big businesses" and our government in check.
As our government has grown, prices have risen dramatically. For example, in 1970 the price of gas on average was 37 cents a gallon, where today it is over $3.00 a gallon. I remember paying $3,000 for my first brand new sports car. All before "NAFTA", and before the liberals began infiltrating our government. Unemployment was at 3.6% in 1970, where if the actual figures were released today the unemployment would be close to 30%
What I am getting at is when government was smaller, it was much easier for us to control our government, not our government controlling us. We yelled for the government to step in and make things better with our banks. The government did, and now we are hearing reports of Bank of America charging $5 per month for the use of debit cards. Now Citibank has jumped in with it's fees, "If you're a Citibank customer who has one of the bank's two smaller checking account plans—the ones where the monthly fee is waived as long as you use direct deposit or their online bill payment—then maybe it's time to consider taking your business elsewhere. Starting in February, anyone with an average balance of less than $1500 will be assessed a monthly $7.50 service fee". Read more here.
My question to you is, do you want more government involvement, or less. I prefer less. I don't like the government creeping more and more into my life. Our government is not helping me or my family. Our government is doing us more harm than good. This is exactly what our founding fathers fought to prevent. Our constitution was designed to keep government out of our lives, not to intrude on our lives. Our government is now so large that it takes an army of people to keep up with what our government is doing.

Occupy Wall Street update
As I watched the live stream yesterday, which was in and out all day, I saw several people come in and speak to the crowds. It raises a great deal of concern.
Dr. Cornel West, who is "Popular Marxist intellectual; describes himself as a “prophet”, Highly paid campus speaker and professor at Princeton, Friend of Louis Farrakhan, Political advisor to Al Sharpton, Views America as a nation thoroughly infested with white racism" Read more here. Francis Fox Piven, which I have written about before, also spoke. To refresh memory of who she is: "Co-creator of the so-called Cloward-Piven Strategy, Seeks to foment economic crises, which can then be exploited for purposes of transformational social change, Has been a guest speaker at numerous Socialist Scholars Conferences, Admirer of Karl Marx, Views violent rioting as an effective and desirable means of agitating for social change" Read more about her here. Now these two are not a good combination. When people that are Marxist, Socialist, and Communist are coming to support a group of protesters, this presents a problem for the rest of us. Question is, with all these groups coming together, how will this end. It is my opinion it won't be good if they continue.
Then you have Van Jones. Who, "Became a Communist in the aftermath of the 1992 "Rodney King riots" in Los Angeles, Founded the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights in 1996, Was active in the anti-Iraq War demonstrations organized by International ANSWER, Served as a board member of the Rainforest Action Network and Free Press, In March 2009, President Barack Obama named Jones to be his so-called “Green Jobs Czar.”, Resigned in early September 2009" Read more on Van Jones here.
As I have said before and I will say again, educate yourself on these people and what is going on in this country. If we leave it up to people like Van Jones, Cornel West, and Francis Fox Piven, those of us who believe in the Constitution, which is being destroyed daily, will have a New Constitution that will take away many of our rights and opportunities.
The events that are happening on Wall Street is spreading. We need to prepare ourselves for what may come and pray for it not to erupt into an "Arab Spring" here in this country. The elections next year are critical to our future. Educate yourself on the canidates and VOTE for the one you feel is best for our country.

Guns and religion
Back in 2008, Obama made the comment "they cling to guns or religion". See the video here. No one is surprised at the attacks on religion. It has been going on since before Obama took office. I remember having bible classes and/or bible readings at peoples homes many times. Now the attacks on religion are coming into our homes. According to this article, "The City of San Juan Capistrano, California is demanding that a Christian couple purchase a permit to hold a Bible study group in their home. They’ve already been fined"
Most of us know that our Constitution is slowing but surely being shredded. Everyone has a God given right to worship in their home without government interference. There is a constant battle with the ACLU whenever it comes to Christianity. They constantly fight with the excuse of "separation of church and state." Our government is so out of touch and out of control. All they seem to see is getting more money out of us so they can spend more on what they want.
Now, also in California, "On Gov. Jerry Brown's desk is a bid to bar Californians from openly carrying firearms, legislation that could open a new front in the state's decades-old gun control debate.
The measure, aimed at an increasingly popular tactic used by 2nd Amendment activists, would make California the first state since 1987 to outlaw the controversial practice of publicly displaying a weapon." Read the article here.
According to the Second Amendment of our Constitution it states: " A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." Our right to bear Arms has been under attack for many years. Our government does not want us to have guns, so they can control us and our country better. With all the cuts that are being made by many States, police protection is being considered or has already been cut. With this in mind, WE THE PEOPLE have the right to protect ourselves, our homes, and our property.
Yes, I will cling to my bible, for it gives me comfort and guidance. I will cling to my gun in order to protect my family, myself, and my property. I do not trust our government whether it be local or Federal to guide and comfort me. I do not trust our government to protect my family, myself, or my property. Nor do I want our government to interfere with my life, especially in my own home.
I am a responsible adult, like many other adults. I know right from wrong. I was raised to respect others and to make the right decisions for myself. I am insulted every time our government think they know better than I do what I need, where I need it, when I need it, and how I need it. I am insulted that our government think we are incompetent to make our own decisions. I am insulted when our government think we don't know right from wrong.

Uniting the country
When campaigning for President in 2007, Obama made the comment regarding Hillary Clinton "I think it is fair to say that I believe I can bring the country together more effectively than she can," read it here. I have to wonder where he is at when it comes to bringing the country together? Well, let's just take a look.
He pushed Obamacare through when the majority of the country was screaming they didn't want it.
Our National debt is currently over $14 trillion and rising by the second. Every taxpayer now owes the government over $130,000. Every citizen owes over $46,000. That will rise as spending continues.
Unemployment is at 9.1 %.
He now has set fuel standards for the big riggs, that deliver our food and supplies, that will end up costing us more money in the long run, since these companies have to pass the cost on to their customers. Which in turn, passes that cost on to us. Read the story here.
He is constantly blaming the Republican party for everything that is happening in this country today. He and the Democrats, as well as the main street media are constantly calling the "tea party" everything from Terrorists to being racist. You can read the latest rant here.
If this is his idea of "uniting" the country, I would hate to see what he would do to "destroy" the country. I have news for Obama and the Democrats. YOU are the ones who are destroying this country. Yes, some of the blame should go to George W. Bush, he never should have passed the first T.A.R.P bill. But, he did. This mess has been building up for years, long before President Bush.
I have stated before, and I will state it again, WE the PEOPLE, can make a difference. We have to make our Politicians accountable and hold them accountable. We can let them know, in a non-violent way, that we will not take this any more. We are a civilized nation, and we can handle this in a civilized way. We the People can and should take our country back.
We need to see the truth about our politicians and the state of our country and make the sacrifices that are necessary to get our country back to being the best, most prosperous country in the world.
The Constitution states: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. At the rate things are going, were are these rights today? Where will they be tomorrow, if we don't do anything about it now? Will our next generation and future generations have these rights? The answers lies with us.
