Revelations

Six days, ago a tornado came though our little town.  That experience has taught me a few things and reminded me of some things as well.  It was amazing to see the response from the power company, phone company, cable company, etc.    Why was this amazing to me?  We live in a very rural area and the response time, is well, a little slow to react.

The response from our volunteer First Responders, Firefighters, and Police, as well as those that came in from another county was spectacular.  People were not left wondering in the streets for long, before help arrived.

It has been amazing to hear and see all the caring, love, and support that was almost immediate.  Small children even helped.  It reminded me of when I was a child.  Everyone pulled together in times of need.  It didn't matter who you were, when you needed help, or what kind of help.  Someone was always there.  Nowadays, most of us don't know even what our neighbors look like, much less know them.  To me that is sad.

Something we all need to remember, is that, when we hear something terrible happens to someone else, it  can happen to us.  All of us need a little help once in a while.  It is never easy to go it alone.

In the little town that I live in, we depend on each other.  When an emergency happens, we pull together.  We should be like that all the time.  Not just in cases of disasters.  So be kind to each other and be kind to strangers.  Not everyone is bad or evil.  Those people do exist, and we should always be careful.

This is a great country.  We should never forget that.  Nor should we forget how we got to be a great country.  Let's not take advantage of what others have fought and died for in order for us to enjoy our lives today.  The fight for our country is a great thing to fight for.  The fight should never end.

My idea of a stimulus package

Give every legal American citizen 1 million dollars.  That includes children.  I would exclude anyone making 1 million dollars or more.

What does this accomplish?  Redistribution of wealth?  In a way, yes.  We have paid taxes for years and our parents have paid taxes for years and look at how it has been spent.  In my opinion it would be more like a refund than redistributing wealth.

The benefits.  We would be able to pay off bills, homes, cars, etc., or invest.  That would help the banks with a flood of money. Banks improved.

Mortgages would be either paid off or reduced drastically.  People who have lost their homes would be able to buy a new home.  Housing market improved.

With the influx of money, more people would be spending and jobs would need to be filled in order to fill the products and needs of those who received the money,  Job problem solved.

People may even want to start their own business.  Capitalism restored.

Why children?  Money could be put up for their college or whatever they need when they reach the age of adulthood.  College tuition paid.

Now with all this, there would be no need for food stamps and welfare.  This would cause these programs to either be eliminated or "tweaked" for those who really need it.  This would also allow Social Security to be fixed.  No one who received this payout would be eligible for any government help for a minimum of 10 years.

Now this would be a one time deal.  All welfare, food stamps, and yes even Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid would stop for a period of at least 10 years.  Why would you need any of these programs if you had 1 million dollars in your hands?  So, you would have to be responsible or deal with the consequences of no government help.

This would be tax free.  How do we pay for it?  All the politicians would contribute.

The future of our children

Nothing about this government surprises me anymore.  Now Nancy Pelosi wants control of our children.  Is this a big surprise to any of us?  Our government is determined to control every aspect of our lives, including especially our children.

In this article:
“One of the great pieces of unfinished business is high-quality child care; I wonder why we just can’t do that,’’ Pelosi said. Her spokesman Drew Hammill said later that she doesn’t have a specific child-care proposal at the ready; that’s what the legislative process is for. But the Nixon-era legislation of which she spoke approvingly subsidized child care for low-income parents and was available to anyone who wanted to pay for it. “She sees this as the next big problem to tackle,’’ Hammill said.
What about our schools?  According to this article:
On a mission to narrow the academic achievement gap between minorities and whites, the Obama Administration has ordered the nation’s second-largest public school district to cut back on disciplining black students and develop a special curriculum for those who don’t speak English.
In this article:
Students, tests and cash were the perfect variables to fatten high school math teacher Jeff Spires’ wallet, officials said, but administrators pulled the plug on him after several students brought his alleged pay-for-grades scheme to their attention.
And in this article:
A student at Western Nevada College has filed a sexual harassment claim against the school, citing her experiences in Tom Kubistant’s Human Sexuality class. The student, Karen Royce, alleged that Kubistant instructed students to masturbate twice as often and keep detailed accounts of their sexual lives. According to The Arizona Republic:
Now in this article:
The Obama administration dedicated at least $18 million to convince Kenyans to ratify the new constitution, which expanded women’s legal right to an abortion.  Although a 1981 law known as the Siljander Amendment specifically states “none of the funds made available under this Act may be used to lobby for or against abortion,” one recipient of U.S. aid pressed the issue anyway.
Now, the way I see it, if the government got out of the way and took less of our money that we work so hard for and let us keep it, we would have the time to look at these things and stop it before it happens.  Our government always uses our children as a tool to get what they want and then this is how they "help the children".  Parents need to be as active as possilbe in what the schools are teaching our children.  What will be next?  Take our children away right after birth?

What will tomorrow bring

According to reports, Occupy Wall Street protesters plan an event tomorrow to shut down the city.  According to the video in this article:
In a rant that appears to have been captured after Tuesday’s Zuccotti park eviction in New York City, a man in the middle of the angry protesters reveals his idea of what’s next for the movement: “we’re going to burn this shi* to the motherfu**ing ground on the 17th!”
If it weren't enough that the protesters are planning this, SEIU is also planning to help out.  According to this article:
The SEIU is planning a “Bridge Action Day” for Obama. The overpaid government union goons will shut down traffic on US bridges and harass US workers going to work on Thursday morning.

According to this article:
One of the boldest labor thugs in America today is Stephen Lerner, a crafty economic terrorist who manages to sound like a folksy self-improvement seminar leader while he explicitly calls for the overthrow of capitalism.
An SEIU board member, Lerner is one of the architects of a subversive plan that aims to destroy the nation’s financial system through intimidation, mass protests, and the mob violence that accompanies it. As part of it, Lerner targeted JPMorgan Chase for attack earlier this year because the bank would be “a really good company to hate.”
What can we expect?  Maybe it will be a non-violent event.  I hope so.  With the history of the violence that has already occurred in many places with this "movement" and with the support of SEIU, I have my doubts it will be peaceful.  We will have to wait and see.

Protecting our children

I wanted to write this blog ever since the story broke on the accusation of abuse at the hands of  Jerry Sandusky.  While doing my research for this, I got more and more disturbed by what I found.  I ran across an article, written by Wayne Allyn Root I hope you will take the time to read. "What the Joe  Paterno scandal and the Penn State riots say about America"

It is very sad when you read the Grand Jury's findings, that many people knew of the abuse of these young children and nothing was done to stop it.  They were CHILDREN for goodness sakes.  It makes me wonder if we are doing enough to teach our children that it is NOT alright to be touched inappropriately.  It is NOT ok to feel uncomfortable around someone and not tell someone immediately.  Today with so many children having cell phones, children should be encouraged to call someone if they are uncomfortable and want to leave.  What happened to these Children is not their fault, it is the fault of those who did nothing.

What is happening here?  For years we have seen and heard reports of parents getting violent at sports games when they feel as though their child is being treated unfairly by the coach or the call of a referee.  Why do we allow sports to become that important in our lives.  So much so, that in this case, nothing was done because of the 800 games won by the coach, who, also makes, according to this article,  in 2009:
Penn State coach Joe Paterno is a millionaire. Records released Friday by the university show the 82-year-old Hall of Famer is Penn State's highest-paid employee, making more than $1.03 million last year.
Could it be that, according to this article:
According to a report by Forbes the Nittany Lions generated $70.2 million in revenue this past season and posted a profit of $50.4 million, more than any Big Ten school in both categories. Only Alabama and Georgia had higher totals in football revenue and profit than Penn State when comparing the Big Ten and SEC to each other.
Are sports so important that, according to this article:
Penn State assistant coach Mike McQueary will miss Saturday's game against Nebraska after the school said he received "multiple threats."
McQueary testified in a grand jury investigation that eventually led to child sex-abuse charges being filed against former defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky. The ensuing scandal brought down longtime coach Joe Paterno, who was fired by the university on Wednesday amid growing criticism that he should have done more to stop the alleged abuse.

I know that I may anger some, but, this story and the affects on the lives of these, now, young men angers me.  These young men will have to live with this for the rest of their lives.  It is unfair to them, they did nothing wrong. I hope that reading the Grand Jury findings I posted earlier will help in teaching ourselves and our children that what happened here is not ok.  We need to protect our children and make sure that if something isn't right, report it.  Don't be afraid.  You may just save the torment that a child will go through by stepping up and making sure that situations like this does not occur and if it does, you have the power to stop it.

I have great respect for Mike McQueary.  He stepped up and spoke out.  He possibly stopped many more children from being abused by Jerry Sandusky.  I applaud him for standing up for what is right.  He should not be the one receiving death threats.  No one should.  At least he had the courage to do what was right.

My hope and prayer is that these young men realize that they will survive this.  They can make a difference.  It will be a long road for them, but, I hope they know that many people stand with them and support them, even if we don't know them.

The price for Occupy Wall Street

When the protesters began to occupy Wall Street, it was a given to anyone who had any common sense that it would end up costing the citizens money.  How much was the question.  In this article, the price tag so far is now  $9,111,487.  How much more will it go up depends on the politicians that are in charge.  How long will they be willing to put upstanding, law abiding citizens at risk?  With the amount of police presence to keep the protesters from breaking the law, it takes away protection from those who abide by the law.  I'm not saying the protesters shouldn't protest if they feel as strongly as they do, but, do not put other peoples lives in jeopardy because of it, don't destroy other peoples property or try to prevent them from making a living.

The woman in this video, whom is wheelchair bound and works for a living, talks about the protestors preventing her from leaving the building.

And in this video,  children are being used as human shields.  This is just going to far.  If you want to protest, go for it, just don't place your children in harms way.

How long will this go on?  It's hard to say.  If those that believe in civil unrest and are not afraid of being arrested, it may be a while.  Are we heading for riots like we see going on in other countries.  That is a possibilty we cannot afford to dismiss.  According to this article: United Steelworkers international president Leo Gerard states:
I think we've got to start a resistance movement. If Wall Street occupation doesn't get the message, I think we've got to start blocking bridges and doing that kind of stuff. This doesn't have to be this way. The economy doesn't have to be this way. It's being put this way because the Wall Streeters are getting their way.
According to this article, dates October 6:
Several influential New York state lawmakers have received threatening mails saying it is “time to kill the wealthy” if they don’t renew the state’s tax surcharge on millionaires, according to reports.
“It’s time to tax the millionaires!” reads the email, according to WTEN in Albany. “If you don’t, I’m going to pay a visit with my carbine to one of those tech companies you are so proud of and shoot every spoiled Ivy League [expletive] I can find.”

Instead of threats, maybe they should contact their Senators and Congress on the wasteful spending of our money.  If our government stops spending money like these then maybe we wouldn't be in this mess.

Rapes, Robberies, even Murder at Occupy Wall Street?

Many reports circulating the Internet are coming out about Rapes, Robberies and even the possibility of a murder occurring at the different "occupations".  According to this video,  a woman claims she was raped and is asking that the protests be shut down.  According to this article,
  • A 14-year-old runaway was allegedly sexually assaulted at Occupy Dallas.
  • A 19-year-old student activist was allegedly raped at Occupy Cleveland.
  • A man was arrested on charges of indecent exposure to children at Occupy Seattle.
  • A female reporter was threatened by activists at Occupy Oakland.

Many more reports keep coming out.  According to this article,
Fights are erupting among Occupy Wall Street protesters, so much so that one corner of Zuccotti Park has emerged where protesters say they won't go for fear of their safety, the New York Daily News is reporting.
According to this article,  "Police say a man has been found dead inside his tent at a protest at a park in downtown Oklahoma City. Fellow protest participant Mark Faulk says the man was in his early 30s and was homeless."

It is time to shut down the "occupiers" from camping out.  They can protest during the day.  It is time for the Governors to step up and protect their states.  They need to do their jobs and do what is best for their state and their constituents.  According to this article,  in NYC shootings have risen by 28%.
Four high-ranking cops point the finger at Occupy Wall Street protesters, saying their rallies pull special crime-fighting units away from the hot zones where they’re needed.
Police have spent more than $3 million so far dealing with OWS. Pulling those cops from their high crime areas has also resulted in a spike in violent crime.
When you look at the list of those that are involved with the protesters, it gives cause for concern.  You can see the list here.

Our children as guinea pigs?

Our government loves our children.  Why else would they base everything they do "for the children"?  Now our government has gone to far.  According to this article,  "The Obama administration is wrestling with the thorny question of whether scientists should inject healthy children with the anthrax vaccine to see whether the shots would safely protect them against a bioterrorism attack."

"The other option is to wait until an attack happens and then try to gather data from children whose parents agree to inoculate them in the face of an actual threat."

Even though this article, is about what is about to happen in California, history shows that what starts in California usually ends up happening all across the country.  According to this article, "In a few months 12-year-olds in the nation’s most populous state can, without parental consent, get a controversial vaccine in public schools to treat a sexually transmitted disease."

"Even for ultra-liberal California this may seem astounding, that children can receive any sort of non-emergency medical treatment without the approval of a guardian. As if this weren’t atrocious enough, the costly vaccine (Gardasil)—linked to dozens of deaths and thousands of debilitating side effects— will be largely financed with taxpayer dollars."

"Worse yet is that a disturbing number of girls and young women who received Gardasil have died or suffered  serious adverse effects such as paralysis, seizures and blindness since the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) fast tracked its approval under pressure from the pharmaceutical giant (Merck) that makes it.  Just this week Judicial Watch released the latest of many daunting federal reports exposing the deaths of 26 girls who received the shot in the last year alone."

According to this article,  in New York, "* Kids ages 11 and 12 sort “risk cards” to rate the safety of various activities, including “intercourse using a condom and an oil-based lubricant,’’ mutual masturbation, French kissing, oral sex and anal sex."

" Teens are referred to resources such as Columbia University’s Web site Go Ask Alice, which explores topics like “doggie-style” and other positions, “sadomasochistic sex play,” phone sex, oral sex with braces, fetishes, porn stars, vibrators and bestiality."

If that weren't bad enough, the EPA is going to deny "over-the-counter, epinephrine-based inhalers".  According to this article,  " low-income Americans will be denied this over-the-counter relief as of December 31."

More reasons why this country needs smaller government.  Our government is completely out of control and the EPA is hurting more and more people everyday.  What will happen next?

Obama's connection to Protesters

It's no wonder that Obama supports the Occupy Wall Street protesters.  I am sure that he is just gushing with pride.  Remember, he proudly stated that he was a community organizer.  Well, according to this article,  (Photo proof included in article) "Obama personally helped plan one of UNO’s most confrontational actions of the eighties [in 1988]: a break-in meant to intimidate a coalition of local business and neighborhood leaders into dropping a landfill expansion deal."

Also reported in the same article' "State Sen. Barack Obama and Fr. Michael Pfleger led a protest in January 2000 against the payday loan industry demanding the State of Illinois to regulate loan businesses. (NBC 5 Week of January 3, 2000)"

It doesn't end there.  Barney Frank is also involved.  According to this article,  "Far left Rep. Barney Frank, the author of the Dodd-Frank Bill and one of the top villains behind the mortgage crisis, supports the Occupy Wall Street movement so much that his staff helped organize the Occupy New Bedford protest on Saturday. They even planned the protest or coincide with a Frank speaking engagement in the area."

Now things are beginning to escalate.  It is no wonder that this is happening in California.  After all, isn't that the place where most riots begin.  Question is, will this spread into other "occupations"?  According to this article,  "Police fired tear gas and sound grenades to disperse hundreds of anti-Wall Street protesters in Oakland, near San Francisco, an AFP photographer said."

"The protesters later regrouped and started hurling eggs at the riot police, who responded by firing paint-balls at them."

Let's use some common sense here.  We have the right to protests, but, rioting does nothing but cost all of us more money.  We all have to pay for the extra police to attempt to maintain the civility of those who protest, but, we also have to pay for all the damange they do.

Occupy Wall Street and Terrorist

When groups such as the Black Panthers, AFL - CIO, SEIU, Acorn, the Communist Party, and people like George Soros, Van Jones, and Francis Fox Pivens, to name a few throw their support behind this so-called movement it is no wonder that Bill Ayers gets involved.

According to this article,  " Bill Ayers, the retired UIC professor and onetime household name, led a "teach-in" with the protesters. He detailed the tactics and history of the Civil Rights movement, drawing analogies to the group before him. "You created power where there was none," the famed agitator said."

According to this website, "In the late Sixties, Ayers became a leader of the Weather Underground (WU), a splinter faction of the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS). Characterizing WU as “an American Red Army,” Ayers summed up the organization's ideology as follows: “Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, Kill your parents.” One of Ayers' fellow WU leaders was Bernardine Dohrn, the woman who would later become his wife."

"Ayers was an active participant in the 1969 “Days of Rage” riots in Chicago, which were led by WU's antecedent group, Weatherman. In the mayhem, nearly 300 members of the organization engaged in vandalism, arson, and vicious attacks against police and civilians alike. Their immediate objective was to spread their anti-war, anti-American message. Their long-term goal, however, was to cause the collapse of the United States and to create, in its stead, a new communist society over which they themselves would rule. With regard to those Americans who might refuse to embrace communism, Ayers and his comrades -- including Bernardine Dohrn, Mark Rudd, Linda Evans, Jeff Jones, and numerous others -- proposed that such resisters should be sent to reeducation camps and killed. The terrorists estimated that it would be necessary to eliminate some 25 million people in this fashion, so as to advance the revolution."

"All told, Ayers and the Weather Underground were responsible for 30 bombings aimed at destroying the defense and security infrastructures of the U.S.  "I don't regret setting bombs," said Ayers in 2001, "I feel we didn't do enough." Contemplating whether or not he might again use bombs against the U.S. sometime in the future, he wrote: “I can’t imagine entirely dismissing the possibility.”
Now comes this article, "Hey King Andrew and friends! It's time to tax the millionaires," the email begins, presumably referring to Gov. Cuomo. The subject line on the missive is "Time to kill the wealthy."

Are we in for an all out war on wealth?  From all the people and organizations that are involved with the "Occupation", it would not surprise me.  The left wing radicals are coming out in full force.

Christians under attack ..... again

The attacks on Christians keep coming.  According to this article, "President Barack Obama's Justice Department asked the Supreme Court last week to give the federal government the power to tell a church who its ministers will be."

How far will this Campaigner in Chief go to extinguish Christianity.  You may remember that they have already attacked Crosses being placed at Veterans Cemeteries, even going as far as to stop anyone from saying "God Bless you" when you sneeze.  I think it is ironic that they use the excuse of "Separation of Church and State", yet, here they are telling this Church who they can hire to teach their children.

According to the First Amendment, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances"  If the Supreme Court rules in favor of the DOJ how will that affect the rest of us?  Our government already has their hands in almost everything we do.

It is interesting how the administration uses the "Separation of Church and State" to attack Christians, but, they won't hesitate to back a Muslim Mosque to be built close to Ground Zero.  Many people have questioned Obama's religious beliefs and I think the questions are justified.

Obama is laying the structure for something.  Looking at all he has done to destroy this country is unsettling.  George Soros wants a "New World Order" and he is helping to finance the Occupy Wall street movement.  In my opinion, Obama is obliging George Soros who is an atheist.

According to this article, "George Soros is a Hungarian-American financier, businessman and notable philanthropist focused on supporting liberal ideals and causes. He became known as "the Man Who Broke the Bank of England" after he made a reported $1 billion during the 1992 Black Wednesday UK currency crises. Soros had correctly anticipated that the British government would have to devalue the pound sterling."  George Soros has done this many times.

"The bulk of his enormous winnings is now devoted to encouraging transitional and emerging nations to become 'open societies,' open not only in the sense of freedom of commerce but—more important—tolerant of new ideas and different modes of thinking and behavior."

What will a New World Oder look like?  It's hard to say, but, I would venture to say it's goodbye to our Constitution, our freedoms, our liberties, and life as we know it.

Supporters of Occupy Wall Street

Let's take a look at some of the "supporters" of Occupy Wall Street and what they stand for.

First. let's look at Van Jones.  You may remember he was the "Green Jobs Czar" in the Obama Administration.  He has stated: “They had the Arab spring, which was a people-powered, non-violent opportunity to change the conversation in those countries,” Jones said. “We should have an American Autumn--people-powered, non-violent.”  Read the article here.

Now, I want to take a minute and look at how "non-violent" the Arab Spring was.  This was anything but non-violent.  You can watch the video here.  Be aware some of the scenes can be very distrubing.  Can it happen here in the U.S.?  Is this what we want?

In this video Van Jones even warns us of what is going to happen.

How about Francis Fox Piven?  She is a radical left winger, who, along with Van Jones believes that violence is what it takes to get things done.  In this video, she specifically states it is okay to use violence.

As stated in this article, "Fears expressed by some that the ‘Occupy Wall Street’ movement is being hijacked by the Democratic Party establishment have intensified after the official OWS website announced that it “stands in solidarity” with MoveOn.org, a lobbying group for the Wall Street-backed Obama administration."

As stated in this article, "My friend Scott Johnson got a tip from a reader that the progressive New York political party Working Families has run an ad on Craigslist, one that apparently promises a salary for joining the OccupyWallStreet protests. "

To make matters even more interesting, according to this article,  "The downtown protest group Occupy Boston threw its proverbial doors open yesterday, and played host to supporters of accused terrorist Terak Mehanna, who are looking to raise awareness of the Sudbury man’s upcoming trial."

Now I ask you, is this what you stand for?  These people and groups involved are "smooth talkers".  They make things sound real good, but the question is... is it?

Occupy Wall Street update

As I watched the live stream yesterday, which was in and out all day, I saw several people come in and speak to the crowds.  It raises a great deal of concern.

Dr. Cornel West, who is "Popular Marxist intellectual; describes himself as a “prophet”, Highly paid campus speaker and professor at Princeton,  Friend of Louis Farrakhan,  Political advisor to Al Sharpton, Views America as a nation thoroughly infested with white racism"  Read more here.  You can watch his interview with CNN while at "Occupy Wall Street" here.

Francis Fox Piven, which I have written about before, also spoke.  To refresh memory of who she is:  "Co-creator of the so-called Cloward-Piven Strategy,  Seeks to foment economic crises, which can then be exploited for purposes of transformational social change,  Has been a guest speaker at numerous Socialist Scholars Conferences,  Admirer of Karl Marx, Views violent rioting as an effective and desirable means of agitating for social change"  Read more about her here.  See the video of her speech to the protestors here.

Now these two are not a good combination.  When people that are Marxist, Socialist, and Communist are coming to support a group of protesters, this presents a problem for the rest of us.  Question is, with all these groups coming together, how will this end.  It is my opinion it won't be good if they continue.

Then you have Van Jones. Who,  "Became a Communist in the aftermath of the 1992 "Rodney King riots" in Los Angeles,  Founded the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights in 1996,  Was active in the anti-Iraq War demonstrations organized by International ANSWER,  Served as a board member of the Rainforest Action Network and Free Press,  In March 2009, President Barack Obama named Jones to be his so-called “Green Jobs Czar.”,  Resigned in early September 2009"  Read more on Van Jones here.

As I have said before and I will say again, educate yourself on these people and what is going on in this country.  If we leave it up to people like Van Jones, Cornel West, and Francis Fox Piven, those of us who believe in the Constitution, which is being destroyed daily, will have a New Constitution that will take away many of our rights and opportunities.

The events that are happening on Wall Street is spreading.  We need to prepare ourselves for what may come and pray for it not to erupt into an "Arab Spring" here in this country.  The elections next year are critical to our future.  Educate yourself on the canidates and VOTE for the one you feel is best for our country.

Occupy Wall Street

Last night as I watched the live stream, Michael Moore, the liberal documentary filmmaker, dropped by to speak with the protesters.  I found it interesting that the protesters claim to be the 99% (those that aren't "rich"), but, yet they cheered for Michael Moore.  He IS part of the 1%.  Michael Moore is against Capitalism, but, yet he made his money because of Capitalism.

Today as I watched the protesters, it became really interesting on who stopped by to support them.  Susan Sarandon, the actress,  is also one of the 1%,  Again they cheered.  "Sarandon was a member and financial supporter of Not In Our Name (NION), the Revolutionary Communist Party-led project whose "Statement of Conscience" condemned not only the Bush administration's "stark new measures of repression," but also its "unjust, immoral, illegitimate, [and] openly imperial policy towards the world." According to NION, it was the American government -- and not that of any other nation -- which posed the most "grave dangers to the people of the world."

Sarandon was also an endorser of World Can't Wait (WCW), the Revolutionary Communist Party-led group that sought to organize "people living in the United States to take responsibility to stop the whole disastrous course led by the Bush administration." Other celebrity endorsers of WCW included Harry BelafonteGloria Steinem, Martin Sheen, Jane Fonda, Gore Vidal, Sean Penn, and Howard Zinn."  Find out more here.

Today members of the protesters were interviewed by Amy Goodman.  "Amy Goodman is co-host of Democracy Now!, a weekday newscast that can be heard on more than 225 radio stations in the U.S. and Canada and on the shortwave station Radio for Peace International."

"Goodman is a hardcore radical who detests both of the established major U.S. political parties. She perceives the politicians of both parties, as well as the dominant liberal media, as corrupted and controlled by a corporate ruling class, and from this perspective attacks them all (albeit from a place on the political spectrum much closer to leftwing Democrats than to Republicans). Because she commonly condemns the allegedly hidden capitalist conspiracies that rule Americans, Goodman is a very attractive figure to the far left."  Find out more here.

I think I am pretty sure what all this "support" is all about.  I think things are going to be getting more and more interesting each day.  It will be interesting to see who shows up next.  What other 1% will show up?

Michael Moore, Susan Sarandon, and Amy Goodman all have this great country to thank for what they have accomplished.  They are the 1% that these protesters are against.  I get it.  I have little doubt on how this is going to turn out.  These events, like Occupy Wall Street are beginning to pop up all over our country.  It is already happening in Chicago.

Thoughts on the Day of Rage

I've been watching the live feed, for several days trying to figure out exactly what they stand for.  I read many of the comments on chat and the post that people made about "revolution" was "corrected" by the moderators.  The moderators would say that this is not a Revolution.  I think that is interesting considering their live feed is called "Global Revolution".

On Saturday, the protesters had clashes with the Police and reportedly, there was over 80 arrests made.  With the people that are involved with "Occupy Wall Street", calling for help from the Unions, and yesterday they interviewed a person from "Code Pink", I feel like their fight is not going to turn out the way they want it.

It is my opinion that they have not done their homework well enough.  With "Code Pink" involved, which is a leftest group, it makes me feel more and more as though the protestors don't really realize what they have gotten themselves into.  Code Pink does not have a peaceful reputation.  If the Unions get involved, with their reputation of violence, things will not turn out well.  The protestors have said they wanted a "peaceful protest". Don't they know what will happen with Code Pink and the Unions involvement?

I don't know if the protestors have thought things out.  What type of system do they hope to have by doing the protests?  Have they really thought this out?  As I have been told many, many times in my life, "Be careful what you wish for."

I heard a protestor ask where the Tea Partiers are.  It is real simple.  The Tea Party is not a Left movement.  They know what they want, they did their research.  Many of the Tea Party members know what the outcome would be if the Constitution was honored, as it should be.  They know what it would be like if the government were smaller and not involved with our every day life.  Many of the Tea Party members know what common sense is and they know how to apply it.   Most know their history.

Unfortunately, some of what these protesters want, means more government involvement, not less.  They say they want their rights and freedoms restored, but, with single payer insurance, for example, this means more government involvement.  They will have less rights and less freedoms.

Day of Rage latest update

I find it interesting that it is extremely hard to find details on the Day of Rage.  Yesterday, the "live feed" was down most of the day, but, reports, according to tweets were there were several arrests.

According to tweets today, there was suppose to be a meeting between the protesters and the Teamsters.  Now, this is not a good thing.  As I have posted before, the teamsters are looking for a fight.  It will be interesting to see what happens.

The live feed is somewhat working today.  According to what I have seen, there is heavy police presence.  It amazes me how the live feeds work whenever someone get arrested.  Of course, let's not forget about people going around yelling "Police Brutallity".  I am not there, so, I don't know if there is or not.  The video do not show any.  That's not to say that it isn't happening.

According to the New York Observer, "Yesterday saw seven more arrests, which is more than the compiled total of the previous days. Neither was it all calm and peaceful protests, either: According to website Death and Taxes, the NYPD are being accused of using “excessive force” in tearing down the tents the groups were using to stay out of the rain."  You can read more and see video here.

Guns and religion

Back in 2008, Obama made the comment "they cling to guns or religion".  See the video here.  No one is surprised at the attacks on religion. It has been going on since before Obama took office.  I remember having bible classes and/or bible readings at peoples homes many times.  Now the attacks on religion are coming into our homes.  According to this article, "The City of San Juan Capistrano, California is demanding that a Christian couple purchase a permit to hold a Bible study group in their home. They’ve already been fined"

Most of us know that our Constitution is slowing but surely being shredded.  Everyone has a God given right to worship in their home without government interference.  There is a constant battle with the ACLU whenever it comes to Christianity.  They constantly fight with the excuse of "separation of church and state."  Our government is so out of touch and out of control.  All they seem to see is getting more money out of us so they can spend more on what they want.

Now, also in California, "On Gov. Jerry Brown's desk is a bid to bar Californians from openly carrying firearms, legislation that could open a new front in the state's decades-old gun control debate.
The measure, aimed at an increasingly popular tactic used by 2nd Amendment activists, would make California the first state since 1987 to outlaw the controversial practice of publicly displaying a weapon."  Read the article here.

According to the Second Amendment of our Constitution it states: " A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."  Our right to bear Arms has been under attack for many years.  Our government does not want us to have guns, so they can control us and our country better.  With all the cuts that are being made by many States, police protection is being considered or has already been cut.  With this in mind, WE THE PEOPLE have the right to protect ourselves, our homes, and our property.

Yes, I will cling to my bible, for it gives me comfort and guidance.  I will cling to my gun in order to protect my family, myself, and my property.  I do not trust our government whether it be local or Federal to guide and comfort me.  I do not trust our government to protect my family, myself, or my property.  Nor do I want our government to interfere with my life, especially in my own home.

I am a responsible adult, like many other adults.  I know right from wrong.  I was raised to respect others and to make the right decisions for myself.  I am insulted every time our government think they know better than I do what I need, where I need it, when I need it, and how I need it.  I am insulted that our government think we are incompetent to make our own decisions.  I am insulted when our government think we don't know right from wrong.

U. S. Day of Rage

Chatter on the Internet is about a Day of Rage set to begin tomorrow.  I have written about this before.  I hope and pray that nothing happens, but, if it does, my family and I are prepared.  I hope you are as well.

According to the website usdayofrage.org, protests are scheduled for all across the U. S.   When you put the pieces to the puzzle together it all comes to focus.  According to Saul Alinsky's book Rules for Radicals, he continuely writes about agitating the "Have-nots".  He writes about getting the "Have-nots" riled up to the point of revolution.  He writes: "They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so future less in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and chance the future."  Does this sound familiar?  The number of unemployed, the number of those on welfare and food stamps, the unknown as to when jobs will return.  All this is fuel for the revolution that is being called for.  This is also the strategy of Cloward and Piven on "overwhelming the system".

When you have the AFL-CIO Richard Trumka making post on his webiste that makes comments like: "Just 10 years after 9/11, despite our vows, the public servants, construction workers and others who lost their lives or still suffer with the cancerous remnants of the Twin Towers haven’t just been forgotten. They’ve been vilified. The extremist small government posse has turned them into public enemy No. 1, as though teachers and firefighters, EMTs and nurses and union construction workers ruined America’s economy."  Notice the comment "The extremist small government."

He goes on to write, "Wealthy CEOs, anti-government extremist front groups and frothing talk show hosts—from the Rush Limbaughs and Glenn Becks to the Koch brothers, Karl Rove’s American Crossroads group, Americans for Prosperity, the Club for Growth, FreedomWorks and the American Legislative Exchange Council—also pushed open the door to hate."  Notice the ones listed speak out against the "big government".  I have never heard or read where any one of these promote hate.

He goes on the say, "Brothers and sisters, friends, I hope you will join me in marking this solemn anniversary by committing to redouble your activism on behalf of America’s everyday working heroes. We will rise or fall together."  Read his statement here.

I have posted links to videos showing how the Black Panthers are rising up, preparing for a fight and promoting hate towards whites.  Now this video comes to light.  On August 13, 2011 the Black Panthers President Malik Zulu Shabazz , tells a Harlem audience  "Our enemies are right here in the United States of America." "Our battle is police brutality, budget cuts, racism and white supremecy."  "Failure to pay Reperations, failure to compensate us for the robbery of Africa, murder of hundreds of millions of blacks here in the west and abroad. "  "We elected you, but, we did not elect you to bomb your homeland.  We did not elect you to bomb Africa."  " We have to fight.  Gird up your loins.  The hour of war is at hand."  Watch the video here.

You be the judge.

Union influence in White House

In Obama's speech last night he said, "I reject the idea that we have to strip away collective bargaining rights to compete in a global economy."  Now this is no surprise to me.  As I have posted before, the Unions have power over Obama and this country.

This has been obvious since 2008 when he spoke before SEIU and commented that he would "Paint the nation purple."  (SEIU colors)  He also said to SEIU members that he is "helping you organize to build more and more power."  Watch the video here.

According to Judicial Watch "As of July 2011, 1,472 one-year waivers and 106 three-year waivers were granted, covering some 3.4 million enrollees, more than half of which belong to unions. Yet, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, union members account for only about 12% of the total workforce.
Judicial Watch previously obtained documents from HHS regarding closed-door health care meetings between union officials and Vice President Joe Biden, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, and then-Obamacare Czar Nancy-Ann Min DeParle. The documents include a list of all of the labor union leaders who attended a meeting with President Obama, along with brief biographical information on each participant. The list includes: Richard Trumka, President of the AFL-CIO; Andy Stern, President of the Service Employees International Union; and Jim Hoffa, President of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, among other Big Labor leaders. The documents suggest that the key provisions of the Obamacare law were written solely to address the concerns of union interests."  Read the story here.

Now more and more reports are coming out about union strikes and the illegal activities, and the bully tactics that are associated with it.  According to this report, "One of the West Coast's most powerful trade unions is in a high-stakes fight over who runs a state-of-the-art grain terminal in southwest Washington. Allegations of "union busting" and "illegal activity" are at the heart of a conflict at the Port of Longview."

The story continues to say, "Union president Dan Coffman, "I look at it as they're trying to bust a union. Everybody knows the ILW is one of the strongest unions in the United States, and I believe the attack's on."
EGT argues that the union is blocking commerce that could boost the regional economy. EGT president Larry Clarke says the grain terminal is capable of processing up to nine million tons of grain a year. That's almost twice what the Port of Portland did last year."  Read the story here.

While this was going on Richard Trumka sat with Michelle Obama during the presidents speech  last night.  With all the influence the unions have over the White House makes me wonder whether we will all be forced to join a union in order to earn a living and provide for our family.  If we are not careful and are not observant as to what the unions and Obama is up to that is exactly what will happen..

Speaking of Obamacare, according to another report from Judicial Watch, "The director of the new agency created to oversee the government takeover of the nation’s healthcare system was the Chairman and Executive Officer of a Maryland company that cheated taxpayers out of more than $74 million in Medicaid overpayments."

The report also states, "When Larsen ran Amerigroup Maryland, the company was embroiled in a huge corruption scandal for billing Uncle Sam for medical services that about 90,000 low-income residents never received in the District of Columbia. Amerigroup was one of three healthcare contractors involved in the "$100 scheme", which was exposed in 2007 by D.C.’s Office of the Inspector General."  Read the report here.

Sharia law in the U.S. ?

Is it possible that Sharia Law is coming to our country?  Let's look at some things and you decide for yourself.

First, what is Sharia Law? According to this article, "Under Sharia law, the clothes you wear, music you listen to, and television you watch would all be censored. Behavior in public is legally restricted and controlled. And Sharia is the ideal social system for those that preach Radical Islam. Sharia is an Arabic term referring to a legal framework to regulate public and private aspects of life based upon specific Islamic teachings. Sharia is an intolerant system that threatens the western ideals of “liberty and justice for all”. Sharia views non-Muslims as second class citizens, sanctions inequality between men and women, prescribes cruel and unusual punishments for crimes, and promotes a restrictive business environment that strangles the freedoms of capitalism."
"The goal of Radical Islam is to undermine western society, by destroying individual rights and freedoms. Those promoting Sharia seek to institute laws that oppose the basic human rights observed within secular, liberal, and democratic western states.
The threat of Sharia has even begun to strike in the United States. Today you can find closed communities of Radical Muslims across the United States promoting Radical Islamic ideology and living under localized versions Sharia.
Furthermore, Radical Islam has infiltrated American Corrections Departments, as convicted criminals are being converted en masse to Islam, oftentimes by radical clergymen.
Due to the rapid population growth of Radical Islam in Europe, Sharia is already becoming a reality within specific regions. If we are not careful, we may soon find that aspects of Sharia have infiltrated deep into the heart of American society as well."

Now, when I read stories about Banning the Pledge of Alligence in school because it has no educational value.  Read the story here, and this story "A weekend of religious-themed observances at Washington National Cathedral marking the tenth anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks will include a Buddhist nun and an Imam, but not an evangelical Christian, leading the head of the Southern Baptist Convention to ask President Obama to reconsider attending the event."  Read the story here.  I see a pattern starting to develop here.  After all we have seen attacks on Christianity for years, but, why?

Maybe the reason for the attacks on Christianity is because it has been trying to infiltrate our country for years.  Why do I say that?  According to this article: "Infiltration of the federal government by members of the radical Muslim Brotherhood is worse than some have warned recently, says a former FBI special agent in Washington.
The agent confirmed that at least three operatives of the Egypt-based Brotherhood – whose credo is "Jihad is our way and death in the cause of Allah is our dream" – have penetrated the Obama administration.
The shocking charge was first leveled by Muslim reformer Tarek Fatah during a recent speech in Toronto.
"When someone says that there is penetration of jihadi Islamists within society, do not dismiss it as some right-wing, xenophobic, racist rant," warned Fatah, a Canadian journalist."  If you have the courage and the stomach, please read the article.

Notice the word worldwide. "Senior Official in Egyptian Islamic Jihad: If We Come to Power, We will Launch a Campaign of Islamic Conquests to Instate Shari'a Worldwide: 'The Christian is Free to Worship His God in His Church, but if the Christians Make Problems for the Muslims, I Will Exterminate Them'  Read more here.

One more piece to the puzzle.  In Dearborn, MI a few Christians wanted to hand out some religeous material outside an Arab Festival 2010.  Watch the video to see what happens to these young Christians.

Let's keep in mind that not all Muslims believe in Jihad or the destruction of Christians. Is Sharia Law coming to our country, or is it already here?
