My idea of a stimulus package

Give every legal American citizen 1 million dollars.  That includes children.  I would exclude anyone making 1 million dollars or more.

What does this accomplish?  Redistribution of wealth?  In a way, yes.  We have paid taxes for years and our parents have paid taxes for years and look at how it has been spent.  In my opinion it would be more like a refund than redistributing wealth.

The benefits.  We would be able to pay off bills, homes, cars, etc., or invest.  That would help the banks with a flood of money. Banks improved.

 Mortgages would be either paid off or reduced drastically.  People who have lost their homes would be able to buy a new home.  Housing market improved.

With the influx of money, more people would be spending and jobs would need to be filled in order to fill the products and needs of those who received the money,  Job problem solved.

People may even want to start their own business.  Capitalism restored.

Why children?  Money could be put up for their college or whatever they need when they reach the age of adulthood.  College tuition paid.

Now with all this, there would be no need for food stamps and welfare.  This would cause these programs to either be eliminated or "tweaked" for those who really need it.  This would also allow Social Security to be fixed.  No one who received this payout would be eligible for any government help for a minimum of 10 years.

Now this would be a one time deal.  All welfare, food stamps, and yes even Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid would stop for a period of at least 10 years.  Why would you need any of these programs if you had 1 million dollars in your hands?  So, you would have to be responsible or deal with the consequences of no government help.

This would be tax free.  How do we pay for it?  All the politicians would contribute.

Redistrubition of Wealth and a run on banks

Welcome to "Redistribution of Wealth".  The wall street protesters and Obama now have first hand experience on redistribution of wealth.

According to wikipedia:

Redistribution of wealth is the transfer of income, wealth or property from some individuals to others caused by a social mechanism such as taxation, monetary policies, welfare, nationalization, charity, divorce or tort law.^[1] Most often it refers to progressive redistribution, from the rich to the poor, although it may also refer to regressive redistribution, from the poor to the rich.

According to dictionary.com: Theft is defined as:

the act of stealing; the wrongful taking and carrying away of the personal goods or property of another; larceny.

I don't see much difference here. Redistribution of wealth is taking from the rich and giving to the poor.  While theft is someone poor taking from those more fortunate.  According to this article:

 A truck filled with President Obama's podiums and audio equipment was stolen in Henrico just days before his visit to Chesterfield.

Occupy Wall Street protesters said yesterday that packs of brazen crooks within their ranks have been robbing their fellow demonstrators blind, making off with pricey cameras, phones and laptops — and even a hefty bundle of donated cash and food.

Now, not only are the protesters calling for a run on banks, but, so are the politicians.  Makes me wonder if the politicians are hoping for another bank bailout.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) doubled down on his anti-Wall Street rhetoric over the weekend, encouraging protesters to withdraw money from the major banks and calling the financial industry “the most powerful, dangerous and secretive” institution in the United States.

I agree, if you feel like your bank isn't working the way you like it to and you find another bank that is better, then switch banks.  That is your right and another one of the great things about this country.  We still have some control here on decision making.  How much longer we will be able to enjoy our right to choose is a question I cannot answer.

What if they won?

Today, I was thinking of the protestors that are now spreading across the country.  I couldn't help but think about what they are standing for and against.  They are against Capitalism.  They are for taxing the rich.  They are for redistrubuting the wealth.  This is what I think.  Let me give you an example.

There are homeless people in this country that would consider everyone who was not homeless, rich.  So.. the government would tax you more than the homeless.  Since you are now considered rich, you have to pay more taxes to the government.  So... that would mean that you can't have as much stuff as you do because it will cost you more in taxes to have those things.  So.... why not give all your belongings to those that are homeless?  Now you wouldn't be taxed so much.  Since you are against Capitalism, why not get rid of everything you own, even the clothes on your back.   Capitalism provided you with the opportunity to have everything you own.  Even the clothes on your back are available to you due to Capitalism.  Now you would be a true anti-capitalist.  You would now know what it is like to be rich.  And, you have redistributed the wealth.

If the protesters accomplish what they seek, this is what things may end up looking like.  Maybe not to the extreme of having no clothes to wear, but, the rest is conceivable.  This is not what I want the rest of my life to look like.  This is not what I want the family I will one day leave behind to face.  I want us all to have the same chances in life and in business to accomplish what we can accomplish.  I would like to go back to the times where we had less government.  Where we had more opportunities to improve our lives and the lives of our children.  Is it possible?  I think so.  I think if we had the right government, we could have a country, where people from other countries could come here legally and contribute to make our country better.  I want a country where we are envied by all the other countries to the point they would learn from us and strive to improve their own country because of the greatness of this country.

The Cloward/Piven strategy and today

Yesterday I wrote about the Cloward/Piven Strategy.  Today I want to point out how it is taking place today.  We hear or read about the riots going on all around the world and think it will not happen here.  Well, if you look at the Cloward/Piven Strategy, it is here already. 

The Cloward/Piven Strategy called for "cadres of aggressive organizers" to use "demonstrations to create a climate of militancy." Intimidated by black violence, politicians would appeal to the federal government for help. Carefully orchestrated media campaigns, carried out by friendly, leftwing journalists, would float the idea of a "a federal program of income redistribution," in the form of a guaranteed living income for all; working and non-working people alike. Local officials would clutch at this idea like drowning men to a lifeline. They would apply pressure on Washington to implement it. With every major city erupting into chaos, Washington would have to act."

Well, this is happening now: Hundreds rampage through neighboroods surrounding Wisconsin state fair .  Our politicians are turning a blind eye to what is happening and what they can do to stop this madness before what is happening in Europe and other countries comes to this country.

Would it really hurt us that bad if our politicians were to tackle the entitlement programs?  Would taking entitlements on destroy this country and our lives?  I'm not saying that all entitlements are bad, what I am saying is that we should take a good hard look at these programs and see how they are working.  That is what they have done in Michigan.  30,000 College students kicked out of food aid program in Michigan.  When the entitlement programs are being abused as they are, something needs to be done.  After all, the working class are the ones who are paying for the entitlement programs.

We should inform our Politicians that we are aware of this strategy and if they do not have what it takes to fight this strategy, we will replace them with someone who will.

Free cell phones are now a civil right

After reading this story Free cell phones are now a civil right it is just another form of "Redistribution of Wealth". President Obama and those on the left, wants to Redistribute the wealth around.

Anyone who has ever worked as a server and has had to "split tips", knows exactly what it means to redistribute the wealth.  When you work hard, as many servers do, servers have to split your tips with all the other servers.  Some who don't work as hard, has a bad attitude, or gives bad service, share your tips. It isn't fair.

Let me put it another way.  You work hard for your money.  You save to buy a home, now you have to give some of that money to someone who is to lazy to work.  Now, you cannot buy that home because you had to redistribute your wealth.

If we ask the wealthy to "redistribute the wealth" where will the jobs come from?  Eventually, the "rich" will not have and money to "redistribute".  Where will the money come from then?  If we are all on a level playing field, where is the desire to be, let's say, an inventor or have your own business?
